"Hello Kitty" is an unreleased song by Ayesha Erotica, produced by Boy Sim. It was intended to be featured as the eighth and final track on the standard version on her fifth 2018 studio album, horny.4u, but it was scrapped along with the whole project.[1]

Background[]

The song’s title was initially revealed by Ayesha on July 16th, 2018, when she confirmed its planned inclusion as the eighth track on her then-upcoming album, horny.4u. At the time, it was yet to have been re-produced by Boy Sim, hence him not being credited in the shared tracklist image.[1]

On August 28th, Ayesha posted a snippet of the song to her Instagram stories, alongside "Vacation Bible School", "All Around The World", "Iconic", "Taco Bell" and "Control". Notably, "Hello Kitty" was the only song to be previewed in acapella form.[1]

Sometime after this, Ayesha confirmed that a re-produced version with production by Boy Sim would be included on the album, crediting him for having “saved” the song. The instrumental was originally produced by Boy Sim for a remix of Ke$ha's song, "TiK ToK". When Boy Sim and Ayesha started working together, the instrumental was later given to Ayesha for the song.[1]

However, following the ultimate cancellation of horny.4u, the song was sold to Slayyyter, who released her own version on October 31st. Ayesha clarified via Twitter:[1]

"Slayyyter didn't steal or do anything off my back, i sold her songs! So i could eat! If you're mad at that, then you're probably awful anyway!"

2023 Demo Leak[]

An unfinished demo of the song, produced by Boy Sim and featuring vocals performed by Ayesha, surfaced online after being uploaded to an anonymous file sharing website on November 27th, 2023. This version is 1:40 in length, and it was confirmed to be the most finalized demo with vocals.[2]

During a live from January 5th, 2024, Ayesha was asked if she was going to finish the song. She replied:[3]

"I did, and it's Slayyyter's song. It's not my song, sorry."

During a live from January 8th, she was asked if the song Taco Bell was going to be featured on the reworked version of horny.4u. She answered: "No, I'm not gonna have the songs I sold."[4]

Theme[]

Lyrically, the song focuses on Ayesha’s devout adoration of the Hello Kitty character and brand. Beneath the surface, the thematic undertones could potentially allude to a more general idea of Ayesha embracing and affirming her own gender identity, with her using the overtly feminine and “girly cute” Hello Kitty character as a tool for expressing her femininity as a transgender woman (MTF).[1]

Lyrics[]

[Verse]
I got her happy on my sheets when I wake up
I got her cute little logo printed on my makeup, oh
And when I shop I look for her face like every time
And when I see her (Hey!)
I just got to make her mine
Hold on, hey, what's that?
Girlie, is that new? Where'd you get that at?
'Cause I've got to have you
It just looks so pretty, I've got to have you
Got to have you, got to have you, got to have you

[Chorus]
Gorgeous, girly cute
Yeah, I just wanna wear the shit that all the girlies do
And I swear, swear to the God above
That there's no one that compares to the way I love
She's so gorgeous, girly cute
Yeah, I just wanna wear the shit that all the girlies do
And I swear, swear to the God above
That there's no one that compares to the way I love

[Post-Chorus]
Hello Kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty, Hello Kitty
Hello Kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty, Hello Kitty
Hello Kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty, Hello Kitty
Hello Kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty (Here Kitty, kitty)
Hello Kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty, Hello Kitty

Got her cute pink toaster making all my breakfast
Got her face on my clothes every time I go and get dressed, oh
Got her bling on my phone 'cause I like to make it shine
When I see her I just got to make her mine

So much stuff, I hardly can keep track
Girl, is it cool if I borrow that?
I'm obsessed with everything in pink
Head to toe in Hello Kitty things
