Gangbang is the scrapped third studio album recorded, written, and produced by American singer-songwriter Ayesha Erotica, intended to be released independently on October 29th, 2016.[1]
Gangbang could be getting an official future release according to Ayesha's manager, Petey Plastic.[2]
Background[]
Announcement & Promotion[]
The project was promoted by singles, but unfortunately, within the same month, the album was shelved for unknown reasons, as officially confirmed by Ayesha's announcement in December 2016 that she was now working on a new album known as Fresh Meat.[1]
On February 2nd, 2017, Ayesha uploaded a playlist featuring outtake tracks from the album, titled "What You Never Got to Hear: A Farewell to the Gangbang Era" to her now-deleted SoundCloud account, "pussysugar".[1]
Cancellation[]
The album was seemingly scrapped around October 15th, 2016. "Party Bitch" was released to "pussysugar" on the same day, under the title of "party bitch (gangbang demo)".[1]
Ayesha sometimes used "demo" synonymously with finished but scrapped/throwaway tracks; example would be "Love You Down Final" being on a playlist called "Secret Demos from the Past", and the "What You Never Got to Hear" tracks being called demos in the description (despite all of them being fully finished).[3]
However, most of the songs meant for the scrapped album didn’t stay unreleased. With the exception of "So Severe", "Like My Daddy", "Sixteen (Remaster)", and the final version of "Un(C*nt)fortable" featuring Erika Kayne, the rest of the songs were posted by Ayesha to her alternative SoundCloud account, "whore1234" on May 17th, 2017. That included "I Will", "Crack Rock", a solo demo of "Un(c*nt)fortable", and an alternative version of "Gangbang".[1]
2023[]
On 2023, Ayesha claimed the release of "Raw" — a track that hadn’t resurfaced until December 2023 — on a Instagram live saying that the track was in fact released and deleted which was previously unknown, however, it remains uncertain if this claim is actually true as there is no public documentation of the supposed upload.[1]
In October 7th, 2023, Ayesha posted on Twitter saying that the project was "poorly done" and "rushed", also saying the songs on the album were throwaway material and half-done.[4]
Singles[]
- The first single for the project, "Used", was released on August 17th, 2016.[5]
- The second single for the project, "Regret", was released on September 3rd, 2016.[6]
- The third and lead single for the project, "Hit Em (The Recipe)", was released on September 20th, 2016.[7]
- The fourth single and title track, "Gangbang", was released on October 2nd, 2016.[1]
- The fifth intended single, "Raw", was intended to release on October 22nd, 2016.[3]
Tracklist[]
On July 11th, 2023, the official tracklist for the album leaked by a user on Reddit.[3]

Photoshoot[]
Ayesha has confirmed that there was a photoshoot done for the album, with clothes from the fashion brand American Apparel, though the photoshoot has never surfaced in full online.[4] On her original Pinterest account, we can see various American Apparel pictures saved 7 years ago, for possible examples of what she wanted the photoshoot to look like.[8]
On the cover art for "Major", a scrapped single from the album, she's seen wearing classic American Apparel pieces, this same photoshoot was also used as her SoundCloud avatar in late 2016. Ayesha wears these again on the cover artwork for the title track "Gangbang".
It isn't fully confirmed if this same photoshoot was intended for album, the photo used for the outtakes compilation was taken the same day as Barely Legal's cover art, and isn't from the original Gangbang shoot. It's still worth noting she wears American Apparel for this shoot as well.
Trivia[]
- The album title refers to gang-bang, a term usually used by urban minorities, meaning a group of 3 or more males having sexual intercourse or getting oral sex from a female/male at the same time. It usually provokes a feeling of dominance and is meant to shame, embarrass or force the female/male.[9]
- It's worth noting that the original version of "You Were The Tease" was released in April 2016 and included as a BIG JUICY bonus track, but Ayesha later decided to rework the song for an inclusion on Gangbang. The same is true for "Sixteen", except that one made the final cut.[1]
- The cover image used for "What You Never Got to Hear: A Farewell to the Gangbang Era" is from the same photoshoot as Barely Legal.
- If it was released, Gangbang would be the first album completely produced and written by Ayesha herself.
