The song was originally intended for Ayesha's sophomore album, Barely Legal, however, it was replaced with "Back to Crack". It was repurposed for Ayesha's next album, Gangbang, however, the project was scrapped.

This song was posted to one of her alternate SoundCloud accounts, "whore1234", on May 17th, 2017, under the title "crack rock final". Other previously unheard songs such as "Gangbang (demo)", "Let Your Head Go" and "Take My Picture" were also posted to the account on that day.[1]
On August 22nd, 2023, during an Instagram live, Ayesha answered a fan's question about the song. She explained:
"Um... it was the demo for "Back to Crack", so I feel like "Back to Crack" was the better version of that. But I do really like the song "Crack Rock" because I sampled "White Lines (Don't Do It)" and I love that song."
