The single "funeral" was the final release before the singles from the album horny.4u, which is set to drop in 2025.[1] Near that time, That Kid responded to a comment asking for updates on Freakalicious, stating that "both Chase and Ayesha were on album-mode", meaning that, unlike what skeptical fans were thinking, she was indeed working on the album.
Ayesha then addressed fans' concerns regarding her lack of updates by sharing an Instagram story. The post featured a photo of herself with the caption "7 days 🤓", accompanied by a snippet of what appeared to be a new song, in this case, being the single "bitch". Given the previously announced release schedule for horny.4u singles in January and the content of the post, it strongly suggested that the anticipated horny.4u era was imminent.[2]
