"Alone" is an unreleased song by Ayesha Erotica. It was intended to be featured as a bonus track on her fifth 2018 studio album, horny.4u, but the project was later scrapped.[1]

Background[]

The song was allegedly recorded for her scrapped album, Fresh Meat. In 2018, Ayesha revealed "Alone" and another song titled "Delicious", also recorded for Fresh Meat, that would appear on the "xxxtra dirty" version of horny.4u.[1]

Ayesha posted a snippet of the song on Instagram in 2018. After her retirement in late 2018, the song was sold to Slayyyter. Her version of the song was released on December 12th, 2018. Since then, Ayesha’s full version of the song has yet to surface online.[1]

On October 17th, 2023, Ayesha replied to a fan asking about the story of the song on Twitter:[2]

"nah it's actually just willa ford/nsync inspired. obvi britney too but, i wanted to write a song in the vein of jealousy by paris hilton".

Theme[]

The song appears to be about a past romantic relationship that has ended on a sour note. The lyrics suggest that Ayesha and her former partner had a tumultuous relationship filled with up and downs. The first verse indicates that Ayesha had heard her ex-partner was speaking badly about her, and she is not going to tolerate it.[1]

The chorus reinforces her accusations by pointing out that he was prone to bad-mouthing his friends and messing up his goals with an unhealthy focus on trends and scenes. He is also portrayed as being indecisive and trying to fix their relationship, only to eventually return to his home and leave her alone.[1]

Lyrics[]

[Verse 1]
Then I hear you're going talking trash
I ain't having none of that

[Chorus]
You bad-mouth every friend that you have
And I know it for a fact 'cause they call you out by name
Fucked up every dream that you had
With the scenes and the fads
Baby, you just look so lame
You try to repair what you broke
But you slipped up again and you ran away back home
Now you have nobody to turn to
I think that you belong alone

[Intro]
Slayyyter, uh

[Verse 1]
Been a while since I seen you 'round
Doing good, how about you?
Heard you talking like we used to talk
Does she does it like I used to?
First you want me then you change your mind
But you got a girl and that's a fact
Then I hear you're going talking trash
I ain't having none of that

[Chorus]
You bad-mouth every friend that you had
And I know it for a fact 'cause they call you out by name
Fucked up every dream that you had
With the scenes and the fads, baby, you just look so lame
You try and repair what you broke
But you slipped up again and you ran away back home
Now you have nobody to turn to
I think that you belong alone

[Verse 2]
Been a while since I seen your face
Yo, what's good? Nothing new, ooh
Baby, I could never be replaced
But your new girl is cute
You should know to never play with fire
'Cause I'm always ready to attack
Yeah, I heard that you been talking trash
I ain't having none of that

[Chorus]
You bad-mouth every friend that you had
And I know it for a fact 'cause they call you out by name
Fucked up every dream that you had
With the scenes and the fads, baby, you just look so lame
You try and repair what you broke
But you slipped up again and you ran away back home
Now you have nobody to turn to
I think that you belong alone

[Bridge]
That you belong alone
That you belong alone, babe
Yeah, yeah
Baby, please
You must've lost your mind if you think that you could hurt me
I'm at ease
Yeah, I'm on top of the world, it's clear that you do not deserve me
I hope your girlfriend sees
All the messages that you been sending my way
And that you end up alone
Hey, hey, hey

[Chorus]
You bad-mouth every friend that you had
And I know it for a fact 'cause they call you out by name
Fucked up every dream that you had
With the scenes and the fads, baby, you just look so lame
You try and repair what you broke
But you slipped up again and you ran away back home
Now you have nobody to turn to
I think that you belong alone

Trivia[]

  • Ayesha's background vocals can be faintly heard in the chorus in Slayyyter's version of the song.
    • This led to a rumor that Ayesha only recorded the chorus.[1]
